How long does it take to complete the staining process?
We apply stain on the first day, then come back a second day to add seal. Once the stain hits the floor, there should be no foot traffic over the stained area for at least two days.
How do you clean stained concrete?
You can use a dust mop to clean or warm or hot water with a little detergent. A lot of detergents can cause the stain to have a cloudy appearance over time. We recommend using a cap full of simple green to every gallon of water.
Can scratches be removed from stained concrete?
The durability of concrete makes it less susceptible to wear and tear. However, scratch marks can be covered with additional stain.
My house is older and has tile? Can you remove the tile and stain the concrete underneath.
Yes. We provide remodeling services that removes old tile or carpet. Depending on the condition of the concrete underneath, you may need an overly of polymer materials prior to staining. However, not all floors require this. This prep work is common on most jobs.
How much does stained concrete cost?
All staining jobs are different. Costs are determined based on the size of the area to be stained, level of detail, and the condition of the concrete. It will usually cost more if prep work is needed, such as removing old tile, hardwood, or carpet.
